Ddda da ddaaa dad daamn

You ever get behind the business end of a jack hammer? You should; it is an invigorating experience. Your teeth shake all the way down to the roots. You can actually feel them vibrating.
And you get the knack for how to maneauver the darned thing without breaking your back while breaking the concrete. But then. But then you encounter what appears to be just another ordinary 4" thick, non-reinforced slab. And the suddenly your pelvis and your hair folicles tremble in pain. Something lurks much thicker under that there concrete surface.
Time to call in the experts and shell out some cash. The going rate is somewhere between $1.50 and $2.50 per sq. ft. to break and haul off. Not too bad. But an unexpected expense non the less.
Oh, but the urge to leave destruction and get to construction is strong. Plus, Wayne's Excavating seems so perfect for the job.
One other note: my friendly lending institution called recently. They were concerned. Apparently my resistance to draw on the loan, coupled with their lack of understanding of demolition had them worried. About what, I am not sure. I see it like this:
They stretched the loan processing out for four months over risk concerns...okay, fine. I get it.
Not, though, they are concerned I haven't drawn on the loan.
These people kill me. "I am not sure I want to lend you money...wait, why aren't you using the loan yet???!!"
You have to laugh or you'd cry.
L8, dean

Ok, when I read that first line the idea that sprang to my twisted mind was a sexual fantasy with Jack Hammer and his high speed sex machine. So forgive me for my sins, but hey, think again about who I am and where I live. Those are perty lips you got there, boy!
