Asses to elbows, a mad scramble to do anything and everything, multi-tasking to the n-th degree. This is life right now. I am enjoying the madness as I make a huge push to complete everything needed for an open house one week from....yesterday oh my God help me and my tired butt and worn, frayed head.
In keeping with the hectic insanity, the plumber showed up last night at 8pm (Sunday) to work a couple hours. He is an odd duck, yes, more odd than I. In reviewing the details and materials on site, I am missing a few key items and today opens with an urge to be upset with other people for my woes but realizing I am responsible.
I spent an hour seeking and reading blogs of my nephew and his (new) teammates in Oostkamp, Belgium. They are racing bikes for the Fuji Test Team at a development camp. It is pure madness on the road for the boys. Broken jaw, strained abdomen, fractured pelvis, road rash to the face, bikes mangled, cars pulling bikes at 50kph as the weave through tight tight streets and dodge 'road furniture'.
And my life seems more calm. And as always: a choice. I choose pressured deadlines and I respond and things work this way for me. And after this mark in time, I will pick another.
Have a great morning peeps.
