Put it in me Scott

I am I the only one who misses the naughty Quizno's easy bake oven? It was raw and edgy and adult and I miss it. Check that. I am not the only one. I think Scott misses the oven. http://fsucreativestrategy.blogspot.com/2009/04/controversy-in-quiznos-land.html

It seems like most funny, edgy material is nixed here in the US and especially more so here in Saint Louis. Local radio stations bleep out G** damn it in songs. wtf? When did my country loose it's sense of what being an adult means? How did things get so dumbed down that edgy means watching The Housewives of Orange County? Or Jersey Shore? Dang it, this sucks.

I mean really sucks. When working on the pc for an extended time period, I source my favorite music station from Vancouver, B.C. The rock/alternative mix is perfect and fuck if there ain't swear words allowed on the air. The DJs discuss candidly and frankly topics that are pertinent. And I laugh my ass off and sing and smile. And isn't that the whole point of listening in the first place?

You know, maybe Disney bought Quiznos. Maybe a right-wing Republican group swallowed up my Saint Louis airwaves and is slowly polluting my mind with Government controling bullshit, like disco. I worked with a guy that was Mr. Conspiracy Theory. One night in a NASA test bay, about 3am, Mr. Haynes decided to enlighten me about the world and the government. I mean, we still had four hours on duty to sit and watch six thremocouples in an environmental chamber do NOTHING. So, I learned from Mr. Haynes that the government in the early 70's was beginning to get flack for running a secret bombing operation in north Vietnam and they needed a way to deflect the attention. They needed a diversion. And we all know that sugar works better than salt so..."Disco was created and distributed by the government to placate the masses, maaannnn."

I don't know. Maybe. But give me liberty or give me death, now that's what I mean, man. I spent waaaayyyy toooo much energy and time becoming an adult so fuckin treat me like one and allow me to drink, smoke, and listen to what I want.

amen.
