Physics majors and those of serious technical knowledge, I appologize in advance...
There is a bit of information, let's call it "knowledge" for now, I gleaned from college physics: excitation energy. I have it grouped along with starting friction versus sliding friction. The idea that it takes a certain amount of extra energy to get things moving versus to keep them moving. Newton had many things right but it always seems it takes a little more to get going versus keeping things going. Besides, I honor him everytime I eat an apple anyway.
Like waking up for instance. Some mornings, it just hurts a little more for no (brown bottle) apparrent reason. Or, working on your Soulard project house, for instance.
Today is going to be a break-through day people. Today I am putting paint on the ceilings. Real finish work is about to commence. And my secret eleven eleven wish is that this input will yield a critical mass sort of reaction. The floor and tile will pop up, the cabinets will be ordered, and the trim and crown will appear as if out of a dream. And the customers will flow like the muddy waters just east and the wine will flow like...well, like AB products in this town.
So, I put to you: what would it take for you to take on something you have been meaning to do but have put off for one (good) reason or another? I further challenge you to get real creative. Think of something really fringe-y, way out there people. Not that painting ceilings and walls is really putting it out there. But work with me here. What would you do, something really big, if only you could get over "IT", whatever it is?
Bon appetite.
