How do you know when your friend is a friend indeed? When he calls you out on your lazy, fat arse and prods you to get in the game. Thanks Kev.
So, I learned that 10" of snow on an 1800's era roof, framed using amazing magic techniques, layered with 18!!!!! Yes 18 layers of asphalt shingles on top of wood shakes makes a roof cave in highly likely. Not a big deal really. Saved me the trouble of chopping it out with the sawzall.
The impact to the psychie(sic), though, is weighty. What. Have. I. Bought? Is it more than I can handle? I am the type of guy who will ride the ship down into the waves before I realize, "Hey, you should get the hell off this thing" occurs to me. Too early, still, to tell though the water at my knees sure looks salty.
The brick masons have made great progress. The south parapet wall is solid and sound and retucking of two more progresses well. And when the police showed up at the behest of an angry dog park member, they stayed calm. This is good.
Money, or the lack there of, will be a post in the near future. Let me tempt you, oh imaginary reader, with this:
Most banks will process your loan request regardless and will put on a happy face. Regardless of the evidence screaming at them like the piece of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of your shoe (Kurt Vonnegut I am not). They will smile and say they will do their best. News flash, making less than twenty k in a year does not show evidence of an ability to make payments on an interest only, construction loan of one hundred and fifty k.
duh.
Maybe I should not have bought my Lynskey for five thousand dollars?

Did the dog poop? And if yes, did the popo ticket the owner?
Next, the pic you sent to my phone made it look like some major excavating has gone on. Is this true?
Last, if your thighs are wet, just sure it is the water and not a dog peeing on you.
